The IPMS USA 50th. Anniversary Award winner for IPMS France was Mr Gilles Gaudin from Cholet, France and a member of Maquette Club des Mauges for his diorama based upon a postcard of 1960s vintage showing the Wendover Motel with a 1966 Oldsmobile 442 in 1/43rd scale. Mr Gaudin was unable to attend the show at the last minute so his award was presented to his father.
